2019 Boys 4th/5th Grade Storm Winter Box League

Box Lacrosse is one of the best ways for youth lacrosse players to develop strong fundamental skills, including passing & catching in tight quarters, stick protection ability, shooting & finishing on the crease.  Box Lacrosse allows players on the field to receive many touches in a short amount of time as the ball constantly remains in play, so they'll get more reps in a compressed span.

Key benefits:

  • Played in a modified hockey rink, confined playing area forces quicker decision makingconfidenceunder pressure and sharper stick skills
  • Missed passes and shots result in a rebound, so there is NO stoppage in play
  • Small goals + big goalies teach players to fake & finish
  • No D poles — players learn to play defense with good positioning and footwork
  • Unlike field lacrosse, players play on both sides of the ball and develop complete skills
  • Location:  Apex Field House: 5724 Oak St, Arvada, CO 80002
